Store & Receiving Officer

About the role

The Store & Receiving Officer will manage the hotel storeroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient receiving procedures, and smooth coordination with procurement. This position supports operational efficiency and audit compliance within Island Shangri‑La, Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean storeroom and prepare inventory for audits.
• Record all material transactions accurately using the computerized stores control system.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, follow up on procurement activities, and keep detailed receiving records, including daily receiving reports.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications, verifying quantity, quality, price, expiry dates, and condition.
• Ensure all receiving procedures comply with food‑safety standards, hotel policies, and internal control requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and related computer systems.
• Responsible, detail‑oriented team player.
• Good written English and Chinese communication skills.
