Strategic Supply Chain Manager (Level 10)

About the role

Celestica is seeking a senior manager to lead strategic supply chain activities for key customers in Hong Kong. The role oversees material availability, supplier development, cost reduction and risk mitigation across the product life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all supply chain matters for assigned customers.
• Manage material availability, delivery requirements and short‑range capacity plans to meet production schedules.
• Drive source selection, supplier development and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate SCM customer enquiries, relationship management and issue resolution.
• Support working‑capital assumptions, quote processes and SCM optimization to meet or exceed targets.
• Lead freight and logistics optimization to secure favorable rates and cycle times.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of electro/mechanical manufacturing environments and processes.
• In‑depth experience with global supply chain management, demand planning and inventory control.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with international sites and customers.

Required skills

• Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Kaizen methodologies.
• Global transportation, distribution and import/export regulatory expertise.
• Advanced analytical and negotiation capabilities.
