Summer Internship 2027 - Global Corporate Banking

About the role

MUFG Bank, Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is offering a Summer Internship Programme 2027 in its Global Corporate Banking stream. Interns work alongside corporate banking colleagues supporting relationship management, client analysis and the development of solutions for local and multinational corporate clients, with exposure to cross-border business, internal product partners and disciplined risk-aware decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support research on clients, industries, markets and relevant economic developments.
• Assist with preparation of client materials, account planning and internal presentations.
• Help analyse client needs across financing, trade, cash management, treasury and cross-border banking services.
• Coordinate with product, risk, compliance and operations stakeholders to support client-related work.
• Contribute to projects that improve client coverage, data quality or team effectiveness.

Required profile

• Penultimate-year student from a reputable university with strong academic results.
• Students studying Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other relevant disciplines are preferred.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and interest in corporate clients, financial markets and cross-border banking solutions.
• Self-motivated, with a genuine interest in corporate banking and relationship management.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and show a proactive, can-do attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English and Cantonese is required.
• Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and present information clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
