Supervisor, Transportation & Delivery

About the role

The Supervisor, Transportation & Delivery will oversee daily transport operations, ensuring on‑time deliveries while minimizing costs. This role coordinates fleet utilization, route planning, and vendor commitments across the local network.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior management in monitoring operating expenditures against budget.
• Execute local transport strategies and prepare daily schedules, selecting optimal modes and routes.
• Coordinate manpower, trucks, and drivers to maintain efficient transport flow.
• Manage vendor communication, resolve performance issues, and uphold contractual service levels.
• Design plans to optimise truck capacity (time, volume, weight) and reduce cost per unit.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective and preventive actions promptly.
• Utilise the Transport Management System (TMS) for scheduling, data handling, and reporting.
• Address customer inquiries, billing validations, and delivery complaints.
• Maintain effective communication with vendors, customers, and suppliers to ensure optimal delivery performance.

Required profile

• High Diploma or higher in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of transport operations, fleet management, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
