About the role
YATA Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Officer to lead inventory planning for its Japanese product portfolio in Hong Kong. The role focuses on maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing waste, and supporting seamless store operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor store inventory and adjust replenishment strategies to ensure product availability.
- Execute demand‑supply planning cycles and develop business plans based on sales trends.
- Forecast demand accurately and modify stock levels accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage aging and slow‑moving stock, minimizing costs.
- Support inventory and logistics cost monitoring and address supply‑chain challenges.
- Continuously improve inventory management processes to boost on‑shelf availability.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG or retail.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent command of Chinese and English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Experience with SAP.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Competence in MS PowerPoint.
