System Analyst – Kubernetes / JIRA (30k‑50k per month)

About the role

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our Hong Kong team. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting enterprise‑scale systems, with a focus on Kubernetes‑based platforms and related tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, maintenance, and support of both standalone and Kubernetes environments.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Review vendor deliverables for compliance with security standards and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with business users, vendors, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement system changes.
• Implement and improve Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response.
• Investigate production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and workflow automation.
• Maintain operational documentation such as runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Provide after‑hours support for releases, maintenance, or incident resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in system development, application deployment, or enterprise support.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
