Temporary Research Assistant I/II – Quality Enhancement Project

About the role

The successful candidate will support the Principal Investigator in delivering the Quality Enhancement Measures (QEM) project “Nurturing Omics Explorers: Empowered by Next‑Generation Sequencing Technology and Experiential Learning”. This temporary position is based in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Hong Kong Metropolitan University.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on topics related to omics and sequencing technologies.
• Recruit and manage research participants for the project.
• Assist in delivering the intervention and collecting study data.
• Perform quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis.
• Provide general research‑related assistance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• For Research Assistant I: a Master’s degree in healthcare, public health or a related discipline.
• For Research Assistant II: a recognised Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social science, psychology, statistics or a related field.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, and ability to work independently as a team player.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SPSS for statistical analysis (advantageous).
