Tenure-Track Clinical Associate/Assistant Professor in Cancer Medicine

About the role

The Centre of Cancer Medicine at the University of Hong Kong seeks qualified clinicians for several tenure‑track appointments as Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor. The positions are four‑year fixed‑term contracts, renewable based on performance, with the prospect of tenure after a second term.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical services in oncology within the university hospital network.
• Lead and contribute to independent and collaborative research projects in cancer medicine.
• Design and teach undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses related to cancer biology and clinical oncology.
• Mentor junior faculty, residents and students, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Participate in departmental and university committees to advance the Centre’s strategic goals.

Required profile

• Medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
• Specialist qualification in Clinical Oncology or Medical Oncology recognised by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (or equivalent).
• Proven record of independent research with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Commitment to excellence in clinical service, teaching and research.
