Tenure-Track Clinical Professor (Public Health) – Multiple Levels

About the role

The School of Public Health seeks to fill several tenure‑track positions at the levels of Clinical Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, and Clinical Assistant Professor. Appointments start as four‑year fixed‑term contracts with the possibility of renewal and eventual tenure consideration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in high‑impact journals, and secure competitive research grants.
• Teach undergraduate (especially MBBS) and postgraduate courses, and supervise research students.
• Develop and coordinate professional education programmes and community public‑health initiatives.
• Participate in departmental administration and knowledge‑exchange activities.

Required profile

• Primary medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong.
• Specialist qualification in Public Health Medicine (e.g., F.H.K.A.M. Community Medicine) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality research, publications, and regional/international scholarly recognition.
• Commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Experience in professional education, community engagement, or leadership in public‑health programmes.
