Track Attendant – Sha Tin Racecourse

About the role

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Track Attendant to support the maintenance of the Sha Tin Racecourse. The role involves a variety of outdoor tasks to keep the venue safe and presentable for racing events.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venue maintenance such as spraying pesticides, applying fertilizer and weed control.
• Drive and operate various track‑maintenance machinery and small equipment independently.
• Ensure the racecourse grounds meet the Club’s standards for safety and appearance.

Required profile

• Education level of Form 3 (or equivalent) or higher.
• Experience in turf, golf‑course, football‑field or general landscaping, construction, horticulture or vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence is advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and on a rotating roster that includes Sundays, public holidays and race days.

Required skills

• Operation of small mechanical equipment.
• Driving Class 1/2 vehicles.
