Training Development Manager – Insurance Academy

About the role

We are looking for a high‑calibre professional to lead the design and delivery of learning solutions for our Insurance Academy. In this role you will create engaging training for multiple sales channels, support accreditation, and help frontline teams build capability and advance their careers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions for Retail Banking, Wealth, Commercial Banking, Private Banking and Broker channels.
• Deliver high‑impact training on product knowledge, sales processes and selling skills.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with internal and external subject‑matter experts.
• Keep frontline teams up‑to‑date on market insights, regulatory changes and core insurance expertise.
• Collaborate with Group Learning and senior stakeholders to shape and manage the end‑to‑end training agenda.
• Provide strategic input for customer‑facing and internal development events.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder and project‑management abilities, able to run multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
• Deep sales insight to translate frontline needs and performance data into practical training initiatives.
• Energetic, creative and resilient, thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of life insurance, financial planning and frontline insurance sales/distribution is a strong advantage.
• Experience in banking/financial‑services training, sales coaching or distribution support is a strong advantage.
