Training Engineer – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role

The position is a training specialist focused on Business Management (BM) and Line Maintenance (LM) within HAECO's aviation MRO environment. You will deliver competency‑building training to frontline staff and coordinate both internal and external learning programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality in‑house training to frontline staff and ensure required competency levels.
• Develop, review and update training syllabi, materials and LMS content.
• Identify training needs, handle requests and coordinate OSH and HKIA training programmes.
• Manage development programmes for trainees and direct‑entry staff, and support manpower planning and budget management.
• Provide safety‑related recommendations for aircraft maintenance operations and assist departmental improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance or training.
• Degree in engineering or completion of HKAR‑147 Category A Basic Training (or equivalent).
• Strong adherence to safety policies, ability to identify and report unsafe acts.
• Excellent presentation and motivational skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., safety & health supervisor, Human Factor Training, Hong Kong Aviation Legislation) are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft O365.
• Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
