Transport Service Assistant

About the role

The Transport Service Assistant supports the Transport Department in daily movement of documents, goods and horses at Sha Tin Racecourse. The role involves physical handling, cleaning and ensuring safe transport of items and animals in a fast‑paced racing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the transport supervisor in planning and executing daily transport tasks.
• Load and unload horses into horseboxes, ensuring their safety and welfare.
• Transport and deliver documents and goods accurately and on time.
• Clean and disinfect private cars, delivery trucks and horseboxes after each use.
• Maintain safety standards during all loading, unloading and driving activities.

Required profile

• Form 3 (or equivalent) education level.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in transport, logistics or related physical labour.
• Willingness to work shifts, including late‑night, Sundays and public holidays.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and follow safety procedures.
