Travel Counselor – Corporate Business Travel

About the role

As a Travel Counselor at Amex GBT, you will join a remote‑enabled, highly skilled team that delivers premium travel services to corporate business clients. You will help customers plan and book a wide range of travel options while ensuring compliance with company policies and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers, both individuals and groups.
• Research and analyze travel options, proactively identifying opportunities to sell additional services.
• Book domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodation.
• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus) to secure reservations.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service‑provider rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide courteous telephone service and handle special customer requests.
• Collaborate with teammates to coach, mentor, and improve overall service levels.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent client service and anticipating needs.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry.
• Native expertise with at least one GDS (preferably Sabre).
• Professional written and verbal communication in English and Cantonese.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity when handling traveler information.
• Solid understanding of business and leisure travel operations.
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and work well in a team.
