Vice President, Buyside Trading Services Relationship Manager

About the role

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President to lead the Buyside Trading Services Relationship Management function across APAC, with a primary focus on Japan. You will own the client relationship, drive organic revenue growth, and act as a trusted advisor on market and regulatory developments.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and enforce all contractual obligations for assigned clients.
• Collaborate with Securities Services partners, sales, client service, and global product teams to identify revenue optimization opportunities.
• Articulate the Buyside Trading Services product and technology roadmap and its differentiators.
• Develop and execute an annual client strategy and calling plan focused on revenue optimization.
• Monitor market and regulatory changes (e.g., Uncleared Margin Rules) and advise clients on potential impacts.
• Serve as the escalation point for client delivery issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Work directly with global agency securities finance trading desks, investment desks, and margin services product management to present tailored opportunities.
• Partner with functional teams to align client program requirements and ensure coordinated coverage.
• Occasional travel as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Basic understanding of securities markets.
• At least 8 years of experience in financial services handling high‑profile institutional investors.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with data.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
