Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

iCapital is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership across the APAC region. The role will shape HR strategy, influence decision‑making and align people priorities with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an integrated advisor to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy and change management.
• Assess organizational health, identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, engagement and retention.
• Provide executive coaching, counsel on leadership effectiveness and talent development.
• Oversee complex employee‑relations matters with discretion, ensuring fair and consistent approaches.
• Leverage analytics to diagnose root causes and inform strategic talent, performance and organizational decisions.
• Drive execution of company‑wide HR programs such as performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation cycles and employee engagement.
• Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Operations, Finance and Legal to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM‑SCP, SPHR) preferred.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a senior HRBP or leadership role supporting executive teams.
• Deep knowledge of APAC labour laws and regulations.
• Proven success in a global, high‑growth environment, preferably in FinTech or technology.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data for decision‑making.
• Exceptional communication, relationship‑building and executive presence.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with HR technology platforms and analytics tools.
