About the role
This volunteer position supports the Hong Kong Distribution Centre of Crossroads Foundation. You will help clients feel welcome and respected while assisting with the distribution of donated goods to families in need.
Key responsibilities
- Handle client and NGO worker inquiries by phone or email.
- Welcome onsite clients, accompany them as they select donated items, and gather feedback through surveys.
- Assist beneficiaries by preparing and filling their orders and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse, including lifting tasks as needed.
- Enter accurate data into stock management systems.
Required profile
- Hospitable and proactive attitude.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting (helpful but not essential).
