Accountant

About the role

lululemon is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team. The role supports month‑end closing, lease accounting, audit preparation and accounts payable across multiple markets, working closely with retail and shared‑service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage lease accounting, coordinate with landlords and prepare store‑level financial reports.
• Assist with annual audit, financial statement preparation and tax filings (indirect, withholding, corporate income tax).
• Provide support for accounts payable tasks and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Collaborate with business, finance and external accounting partners in Vancouver and other regions.
• Handle ad‑hoc finance and compliance projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Progress toward a professional qualification (e.g., HKICPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an MNC or CPA firm.
• Experience supporting multiple countries in South‑East Asia is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with both local and remote teams.
