AI Platform Engineer

About the role

Join a leading financial institution in Hong Kong that is driving digital innovation and AI transformation. As an AI Platform Engineer you will work on cutting‑edge AI platforms, cloud infrastructure and MLOps environments, ensuring the reliability and scalability of mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise AI platforms and cloud infrastructure in production.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, containerised workloads and platform services for high availability.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI and/or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployment, configuration and patch management with Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible.
• Execute production releases, change implementations, rollback planning and post‑deployment validation.
• Monitor platform health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and centralized logging.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support PostgreSQL databases, container platforms and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with AI and Data Engineers to enable model deployment and data platform operations.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks and support records.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure or Production Support.
• Strong background supporting mission‑critical production environments.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
