Analog Design Engineer – Precision Analog (New Graduate)

About the role

Join the core R&D team at Monolithic Power Systems to design and develop cutting‑edge precision analog integrated circuits. As a campus hire you will work through the full product lifecycle, from concept and transistor‑level design to silicon validation, under the mentorship of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Define product specifications and select optimal process nodes.
• Design analog and mixed‑signal circuits from transistor to system level.
• Perform circuit simulation, logic verification, and develop test methodologies.
• Supervise layout implementation and ensure compliance with electrical rules.
• Lead post‑silicon debugging, characterization, and evaluation after tape‑out.
• Support test engineers with test program development and assist product engineers during release.
• Propose novel circuit ideas, conduct feasibility studies, and contribute to application notes, data sheets, and demo boards.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics (fresh graduate).
• Strong foundation in analog/digital circuit theory, semiconductor physics, and IC design flows.
• Familiarity with precision analog blocks (op‑amps, ADC/DAC, references) and error‑budget analysis.
• Ability to solve well‑defined problems and select optimal solutions.
• Effective teamwork and clear technical communication.
• Good time‑management skills to meet project deadlines.
