Assistant Engineer Graduate Programme

About the role

Aurecon is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join its Assistant Engineer programme in Hong Kong. You will work within a flexible, inclusive environment, supporting a range of engineering projects from data centre construction to tunnel design.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers on multidisciplinary projects, including civil, structural, and geotechnical works.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site investigations, data collection, and basic analysis for tunnels and underground works.
• Support the preparation of reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across geographies to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Academic transcript and GPA score must be provided.
• Strong interest in learning across multiple engineering business disciplines.
• Willingness to work in Hong Kong and adapt to a fast‑moving project environment.

Required skills

• Geotechnical analysis knowledge.
• Understanding of tunnelling methods and underground construction.
• Familiarity with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) for engineering applications.
