Assistant Engineer – Telecom & SMATV Systems

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to maintain and enhance telecommunication and SMATV systems across our commercial properties. You will work closely with vendors, tenants, and building teams to ensure reliable service and support ongoing upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain telecommunication and SMATV systems in existing commercial properties.
• Monitor and coordinate with maintenance service vendors to ensure high standards of upkeep.
• Prepare repair tenders, issue work orders, and oversee vendor performance.
• Handle tenant complaints related to telecom and SMATV systems and coordinate improvement works.
• Manage projects involving system upgrades, modifications, and new technology implementations.
• Provide operational support for the Central Monitoring Centre and monitor faults in building services systems.
• Support Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Professional qualification such as MHKIE or equivalent preferred.
• Certificate of Grade B Registration of Electrical Worker preferred.
• Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience in commercial building operation and maintenance.
• Strong analytical abilities, self‑motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
