Assistant Manager, Customer Operations Strategy, Communications & Channel Engagement

About the role

This is a strategic, creative and data-driven position within the Chief Customer Operations and Health Officer Office at Prudential. It translates Customer Operations strategy, performance, transformation priorities and customer impact into executive narratives, high-quality communications, visual storytelling and multi-channel engagement. The role sits at the intersection of operations strategy, executive reporting, communications, data visualisation, creative production and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Executive communications: develop presentations and briefing materials for the Chief Customer Operations and Health Officer and senior leadership, prepare ExCo, Board and senior management reports, and support the Chief of Staff with talking points, townhall scripts and stakeholder communications.
• Data storytelling: turn data into business insights with dashboards, infographics and executive summaries, covering customer outcomes, service levels, claims performance, AI adoption and transformation progress.
• AI-enabled content creation: use generative AI to speed up the production of decks, infographics, short videos, animations, banners and other engagement assets, while keeping content accurate and brand-compliant.
• Channel engagement: create materials and plans for insurance agents and distribution partners, supporting meetings, roadshows and briefings with agent-friendly messages.
• Internal communications: support staff townhalls, newsletters, videos, digital posters and recognition campaigns, working with HR, Corporate Affairs and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic planning: support the Chief of Staff office with strategic updates, meeting packs and briefings, and help set communication standards, templates and reporting cadence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Design, Data Analytics, Digital Media or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, strategy, business planning, customer operations, marketing communications, creative production or consulting.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, customer operations or agency distribution is highly preferred.
• Proven experience preparing senior management, ExCo or Board-level presentation materials.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills in English; Chinese capability is highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation design capability.
• Ability to turn data and complex business information into clear, visually compelling insights.
• Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Hands-on experience with creative or AI-enabled tools for presentation design, video production and generative AI is a strong advantage.
