Assistant Production Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Vita Green is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support daily manufacturing operations in its GMP‑certified facility. You will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure smooth production flow, compliance with quality standards, and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in planning and coordinating daily production activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage project handovers and line transitions.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Provide on‑site support and people‑management to keep the workforce motivated and productive.
• Participate actively in process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Familiarity with GMP standards is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.
