Assistant Stores Manager – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Assistant Stores Manager will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring orders are received, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time. This hands‑on role combines operational leadership with a focus on continuous improvement and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations: receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Optimize layout, space utilization, and storage capacity to boost efficiency.
• Monitor productivity, conduct cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and annual inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and audit corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to align warehouse activities.
• Analyze performance data, develop KPI dashboards, and leverage WMS, BI tools, and AI‑driven solutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or operations management, preferably in contract logistics.
• Proven team‑leadership experience and a track record of process‑improvement projects.
• Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English.
• Familiarity with ISO certification, internal audits, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
