Associate Director, Leadership Programmes

About the role

Develop and deliver programme strategies and plans to strengthen senior leadership at AIA, aligning with the company’s purpose, operating philosophy and Ascend strategic priorities. Ensure high‑quality standards in capability‑building solutions from design through post‑programme follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee diagnosis, analysis, planning and execution of leadership programmes supporting AIA’s corporate strategy and future‑of‑work agenda.
• Monitor and review programme quality, including design, content validation, delivery methodology, trainer qualifications and impact assessment.
• Influence behaviour change to achieve effective capability transformations and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with HR CEOs, HRBP teams and the Group Innovation Office to ensure consistency and joint delivery of learning solutions.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders of the AIA Leadership Center, Country CEOs and Chief HR Officers.

Required profile

• University graduate or equivalent with more than 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in strategic talent or leadership development roles.
• Proven experience in learning and leadership development strategic planning and execution.
• Strong knowledge of designing world‑class leadership programmes and effective project management capability.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with strong business acumen.
• Ability to lead change and understand corporate university concepts (advantageous).
