Audit Manager – Financial Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

Deloitte’s Financial Services Audit & Assurance practice in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for banks, brokers, insurers and other financial institutions. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high‑quality audit services and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assume overall control of audit assignments and manage day‑to‑day client interactions.
• Lead audit and, when required, other assurance or advisory engagements.
• Develop deep knowledge of client businesses to build trust while maintaining independence.
• Participate in risk assessment discussions and apply appropriate audit tools, guidance and methodology.
• Contribute to business development activities, including audit tenders.
• Support practice management through internal training and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree; accounting or related discipline preferred.
• CPA qualification (HKICPA) preferred.
• Eight to twelve years of audit experience in banking and capital markets, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
• Accreditation as a Green & Sustainable Finance (GSF) professional is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability and commitment to delivering high‑quality client service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFRS and HKFRS standards.
• Knowledge of US GAAP (bonus).
• CPA (HKICPA) certification.
• Understanding of Green & Sustainable Finance principles.
