Business Development Executive / Manager

About the role

As a Business Development Executive / Manager you will expand our merchant network by acquiring new restaurant partners for the Eatigo platform, reporting to the Country Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential restaurant partners through market research, industry insights and networking.
• Generate leads using cold calling, email campaigns, referrals and partnerships.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to approach prospective partners.
• Conduct presentations and pitches to demonstrate the value of our services.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, fees and contractual conditions of merchant agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective restaurant partners, understanding their needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective partners, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales operations to ensure partner satisfaction during onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the acquisition process.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.

Required profile

• Diploma in any field.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development or merchant acquisition, preferably in e‑commerce.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Data‑driven mindset, using analytics to support client conversations.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver with a resourceful, fast‑learning attitude.
