Business Development Manager, Public Sector

About the role

Crestron is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and increase sales of its AV and iOT solutions within the government and healthcare sectors in Hong Kong. You will engage directly with decision‑makers and influencers to promote Crestron’s integrated control and automation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers through referrals, personal network, events, cold‑calling and social media.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, procurement officers and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure Crestron solutions are specified in tender requirements by establishing partnerships with purchasing decision‑makers.
• Prepare persuasive proposals and tender documents that align Crestron’s product portfolio with public‑sector needs.
• Collaborate with the pre‑sales team to design end‑to‑end solutions that meet customer specifications.
• Generate and manage a high‑growth sales pipeline through aggressive prospecting activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling AV/iOT solutions to government or healthcare customers.
• Proven ability to penetrate organisations via single contacts or cold‑calling.
• Ambitious, resilient and driven to exceed sales quotas.
• Engineering degree/diploma or strong understanding of IT and Pro AV networking design.
• Independent yet collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
