Business Unit Director, Vision Care Hong Kong

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's Vision team develops treatments that improve sight across the eye care spectrum, from children to older adults. The Business Unit Director is the senior business leader for Vision Care Hong Kong, accountable for business performance, P&L delivery, market competitiveness and organizational leadership. The role aims to restore the business to sustainable growth while protecting profitability and strengthening its long-term market position.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Hong Kong Vision Care P&L, including revenue, profitability, operating expenses, investment returns and working capital discipline, and deliver annual and long-term business plans
• Lead the transformation from a traditional retail-led model to an integrated omnichannel growth model, making choices on brands, portfolios, channels, customers, pricing and promotions
• Drive commercial strategy across key accounts, retail partners, e-commerce platforms and professional channels, accelerating online growth and strengthening revenue growth management
• Partner with Marketing and Professional Development to strengthen brand equity, category development, professional advocacy and demand generation
• Lead and develop a cross-functional organization of around 30 employees, build a high-performing leadership team and develop talent pipelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
• More than 15 years of progressive business experience, ideally in consumer healthcare, medical devices, retail, FMCG, beauty, consumer electronics or another branded omnichannel business
• Demonstrated success in restoring growth, transforming a business or leading through structural channel change
• Fluent Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus
