Cashier Supervisor

About the role

The Cashier Supervisor will oversee all cashier operations at Lane Crawford, ensuring accurate sales transactions, proper cash handling, and smooth POS activities. You will work directly in the cashier office, supporting both front‑line staff and corporate processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cashier services, including POS terminal floats and cash closings.
• Check POS credit‑card settlement reports and evaluate unusual sales transactions.
• Prepare cash reports, handle daily cash deposits, and coordinate bank transfers of foreign currency and traveller’s cheques.
• Set up credit‑card terminals for road‑show and trunk‑show events.
• Issue and process electronic gift cards for corporate customers and at POS terminals.
• Process refunds for e‑business transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of cashier experience, preferably in retail.
• Ability to work shift duties.
• Experience in sales audit or frontline operations is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills for daily POS and credit‑card settlement reporting.
