Charities Engagement Manager

About the role

The Charities Engagement Manager supports the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including senior club members, community leaders, and grantees. The role contributes to the Trust’s visibility and impact by assisting with communications, event planning, and day‑to‑day operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing the stakeholder engagement plan, reaching out to senior members, community leaders, and grantees.
• Support planning and delivery of signature events such as the Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum, Community Day, Charities Spring Luncheon, and scholarship ceremonies.
• Coordinate publicity and acknowledgement for grantees and project partners across business‑as‑usual and Trust‑initiated projects.
• Liaise with Charities Programme Teams and internal stakeholders to implement engagement strategies.
• Provide logistical support for the Trust’s participation in external ceremonies, launches, and seminars.
• Prepare materials, monitor risks, and escalate issues to ensure smooth event execution.
• Assist with budget tracking, procurement processes, and daily operational tasks.
• Contribute to internal staff engagement initiatives and promote a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations, or event coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
