Senior Manager, Public Affairs (Community Communications)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Public Affairs (Community Communications) will lead the development and execution of mass public communication initiatives that showcase the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s social contributions. Reporting to the Head of Public Affairs, you will partner with internal teams to create integrated online and offline campaigns, media collaborations, and community events.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch public‑awareness campaigns that highlight the Club’s charitable and community programmes.
• Identify and manage media partners, craft messaging, and oversee content production.
• Coordinate creative and media agencies to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality campaigns.
• Develop and maintain the Charities & Community online content hub, including performance analytics.
• Implement tracking mechanisms, analyse results in real time, and conduct post‑campaign evaluations.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate community events and activations from concept to results reporting.
• Maintain consistent communication assets across all initiatives.
• Support budget planning, tracking, and reporting for marketing and communications projects.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team, ensuring clear objectives and succession planning.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in public affairs, corporate communications, or community engagement.
• Proven track record of managing integrated publicity campaigns and media collaborations.
• Strong project‑management skills with ability to oversee multi‑stage initiatives.
• Experience managing external agencies and production partners.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse campaign performance and optimise in real time.
• Leadership experience with team development and performance coaching.
