Client Manager / Assistant Vice President - Risk Management

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Client Manager / Assistant Vice President to join its Risk Management team, based in Hong Kong. The role manages a portfolio of large multinational clients and delivers insurance solutions while expanding the client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large multinational clients, including insurance program renewals and daily client inquiries
• Understand clients' risk exposures and apply the Marsh client servicing model to deliver insurance solutions and grow the portfolio with new products, advisory services and other MMC services
• Work with Marsh placement, specialty, claims and risk consulting teams on renewals and solutions
• Help clients with coverage questions and program adjustments, and resolve account issues
• Coordinate Marsh network offices so local service standards and goals are met
• Own the profitability, budget and receivables of the assigned accounts
• Implement the Marsh Professional Standard and guidelines for assigned accounts
• Coach team members to deliver timely, focused customer service

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management or a related field
• IQI or ANZIIF qualification required
• 6+ years of experience in general insurance
• Selling to the education industry is a plus
• Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, organized, with good time management
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
