Client Service Manager, Officer

About the role

State Street Investment Services, Hong Kong is looking for an experienced Client Service Manager, Officer to join its Client Service Team. The role acts as the primary client contact point, connecting clients with the right subject matter experts locally or across locations, managing regular client reviews and coordinating resolution of client change requests. The position sits within the Client Service function of State Street Investment Services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact point and deliver State Street's full range of services as client needs evolve
• Respond to escalated issues, communicate resolutions, monitor inquiry metrics and escalate unresolved issues to senior management
• Prepare and arrange regular service review meetings and annual due diligence, and coordinate client project or change request preparation
• Support senior executive client visits and keep senior managers informed of developments, issues and new business opportunities
• Facilitate cross-functional communication, promote collaboration across businesses and jurisdictions, and provide subject matter expertise for new business on-boarding
• Drive project work to improve client service, evaluate team operations and review operating standards
• Communicate client activity updates, assist with compliance, fiduciary reviews, controls and audits, and resolve non-compliant items promptly
• Follow State Street corporate policies, including the Standard of Conduct

Required profile

• University graduate
• 5-8 years of asset servicing experience in custody, fund accounting or fund administration with significant client service exposure
• Previous financial services experience and market knowledge are essential
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
