Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will work closely with application development, system, and infrastructure teams to design, build, and maintain automated DevOps solutions and cloud platforms. You will drive the adoption of modern cloud technologies, improve system reliability, and ensure high‑performance, scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop DevOps tools, frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, third‑party frameworks, and automation techniques.
• Define and enforce best practices for application deployment and cloud infrastructure maintenance.
• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of highly scaling cloud systems through recovery automation.
• Monitor cloud services, infrastructure, and systems to guarantee high availability and quality.
• Provide ad‑hoc professional IT support as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience developing or using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Rancher, AKS or ACK.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, Node.js, Python (at least one).
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud.
• Container technologies: Kubernetes, Rancher, AKS, ACK.
• Service mesh: Istio.
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with big‑data technologies and cloud‑native application design is a plus.
