C#.NET Full-Stack Developer – Front-Office Technology

About the role

The client, a leading global financial services group, seeks a C#.NET Full‑Stack Developer to drive the evolution of its proprietary front‑ and middle‑office trading ecosystem. You will own the complete software development lifecycle, from architecture and feasibility studies to development and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement robust features for in‑house trading and middle‑office systems using the .NET framework.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses for new solutions, providing technical recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Own testing phases, including unit, functional, and integration testing, while maintaining high‑quality documentation.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for core applications, providing second‑line support and collaborating with infrastructure and DBA teams.
• Maintain and enhance interfaces between front‑office platforms (e.g., Fidessa) and back‑office settlement systems.
• Develop and support SSIS packages and Excel‑based EUC tools for Finance and Operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience in a corporate setting, preferably within investment banking or securities.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; MCP or similar certifications are a plus.
• Self‑starter capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English; Cantonese proficiency preferred for regional coordination.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in C# .NET.
• Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Hands‑on experience with SSIS.
• Advanced Excel VBA for financial automation.
• Familiarity with Fidessa, Omgeo CTM, ULBridge, and Java/ASP is advantageous.
