Corporate Associate (3-7 years PQE)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Associate to join our Corporate & Commercial practice. The role offers exposure to cross‑border transactions, direct client contact and collaboration with partners on high‑profile matters across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise a diverse client base on corporate, commercial, data‑protection, intellectual property and employment matters.
• Manage matters independently from inception to completion, drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
• Deliver commercially focused solutions and ensure efficient matter management.
• Participate in client marketing and business development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and jurisdictions on complex, cross‑border projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive, high‑quality advice.
• Provide leadership to junior colleagues through delegation, mentoring and coaching.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 3–7 years post‑qualification experience at a reputable law firm.
• Solid grounding in corporate and commercial law, with exposure to data‑protection, IP and employment matters.
• Excellent communication, drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, client‑centric mindset and ability to work independently.
• Proven project‑management and organisational abilities.
• Motivated, proactive and eager to grow within the firm.
