Custody Business Analyst – Banking

About the role

Capco is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead Custody transformation projects for top‑tier financial institutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, product owners and technology teams to deliver end‑to‑end securities lifecycle improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, user stories, process flows and functional specifications for custody operating models.
• Support change initiatives across settlement, safekeeping, asset servicing, corporate actions, income processing and reconciliation.
• Conduct business process analysis to identify efficiency, control, automation and digitisation opportunities.
• Develop target operating models and future‑state processes for custody and investor servicing functions.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience in Global Custody, Securities Services or financial services consulting.
• Strong understanding of custody operations, including trade settlement, safekeeping, corporate actions, income processing, cash & securities and asset servicing.
• Proven Business Analyst experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering transformation initiatives across custody platforms or post‑trade operations.
