Engagement Manager – Insurance & Asset Management

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead high‑impact consulting engagements within its Insurance & Asset Management practice in Hong Kong. You will drive project delivery, build senior client relationships, and mentor junior consultants while contributing to thought leadership in the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day management of project workstreams, ensuring rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Develop and sustain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, engaging senior executives to support strategic decision‑making.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Principals to deliver consulting services of the highest quality.
• Engage directly with clients through presentations and workshops, aligning solutions with their strategic objectives.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in top‑tier strategy consulting or in Life, General, Health, Reinsurance, or Asset Management sectors.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a respected academic institution.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of turning complex data into clear strategic insights.
• Proven success in leading teams or workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive, growth‑oriented mindset.
