Events Management Manager, Research

About the role

The Events Management Manager, Research will lead the planning and execution of CSI regional forums and events from concept to completion. You will ensure high‑quality delivery for both external and internal stakeholders while managing budgets, vendors, and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including set‑up, staging, branding, F&B, staffing, IT, live feed, virtual and video production.
• Implement policies and procedures to maintain quality and consistency across events.
• Control divisional budgets, manage payment settlements, and monitor cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal parties to guarantee timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Manage travel, accommodation, and ground transportation logistics for participants.
• Create marketing collateral such as brochures, premiums, and costumes.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage external vendors (merchandisers, hoteliers, PR firms, equipment providers, entertainment companies).
• Handle on‑site crisis management and ensure smooth execution of forums.
• Engage government officials, executive participants, and corporate sponsors.
• Stay updated on company initiatives and market trends to adapt event strategies.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members and oversee their projects.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree or higher.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience in event marketing, preferably within finance‑related MICE, investment banking, or event production firms.
• Strong on‑shore event organization experience.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Proven ability to drive event execution with a business‑focused mindset.
