Financial Controller (Reporting)

About the role

The Financial Controller (Reporting) will support the group’s financial consolidation, ensure accurate data reconciliation, and work closely with external and internal audit teams to resolve reporting discrepancies. The role also involves regular financial analysis, policy development, and supporting system migration and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform group financial consolidation, data reconciliation and inter‑company checks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal audit teams, providing reconciliation sheets and supporting documents.
• Analyse financial data, summarize highlights and deviations, and produce professional analysis reports.
• Develop policies and procedures from a financial control perspective.
• Support system migration, process improvements and automation projects.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant experience in professional accounting firms or financial services.
• In‑depth knowledge of Hong Kong Accounting Standards and Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
• Qualified accountant status (ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent) is preferred.
