Front Desk Officer

About the role

As a Front Desk Officer at Hilton, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences. Your role is essential in delivering memorable hospitality and addressing guest needs throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, verify reservations, assign rooms, issue keys and provide welcome materials.
• Process check‑outs, verify charges, handle payments and issue receipts using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, room types, rates, promotions and local attractions.
• Promote hotel services and upsell amenities to maximize revenue.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve concerns and manage communications efficiently.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a guest service or front office role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach to inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
