Full-time Educational Assistant (Parent‑funded)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Educational Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a primary‑aged student with diverse learning needs. The role involves moving between classroom and individualized settings, ensuring the child feels safe, confident and able to access the curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Support the child’s well‑being, confidence and safety across all learning environments, including outdoor and playground areas.
• Implement a comprehensive support plan using clear routines, visual schedules and organisational strategies.
• Model and reinforce positive behaviours and self‑regulation techniques during lessons and transitions.
• Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and inclusion team to adapt learning activities and promote independence.

Required profile

• Kind, caring and eager to make a positive impact on young people.
• Proven experience working with primary‑aged children in one‑to‑one or small‑group settings.
• Positive team player, open to new learning strategies and technologies.
• Clear and effective communicator with students, teachers and school staff.
