Funds Lawyer

About the role

Join an award‑winning Financial Services Practice Group and work with high‑profile, multinational financial institutions in the asset management sector. You will provide legal counsel on fund formation, SFC authorisation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on the establishment and distribution of SFC‑authorised retail investment funds.
• Support the formation and governance of professional‑investor focused private funds.
• Manage compliance for retail and private funds under SFC codes and guidelines.
• Collaborate with partners, associates and clients to ensure efficient transaction completion.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.

Required profile

• Hong Kong qualified lawyers with 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience preferred; overseas qualified lawyers with equivalent experience and newly qualified lawyers also considered.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, especially funds management, compliance and regulatory functions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken, written and read English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
