Ground Operations Agent

About the role

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking a Ground Operations Agent to support aircraft loading and unloading, flight tracking, and cargo handling. The role ensures compliance with company and governmental regulations while delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Track flights, monitor ETA/ETD and develop load plans based on real‑time information.
• Calculate weight and balance, and oversee cargo build‑up and break‑down in the warehouse.
• Inspect aircraft cargo, identify unsafe items, and enforce safety rules.
• Coordinate with vendors and handlers, supervise loading/off‑loading, and monitor ramp operations.
• Maintain accurate cargo documentation, including HAZMAT paperwork, and obtain required approvals.
• Arrange crew meals and catering logistics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher education in any discipline.
• Knowledge of air freight, terminal operations, and flight terminology.
• Previous airline or cargo handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to track multiple issues simultaneously and work night shifts.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
