IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to join our Tokyo office, supporting the technology backbone of a global fashion brand. The role involves daily administration of servers, security appliances and network devices, ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support and system administration for server systems, security appliances, networking devices and overall network infrastructure.
• Design, implement and optimise network solutions, including routing, switching and Wi‑Fi deployments.
• Configure firewalls and manage routing to maximise efficiency and security.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve network incidents and problems.
• Develop and maintain formal guidelines, policies and procedures aligned with service level agreements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation such as network diagrams and inventory.
• Work occasional non‑office hours as required by business needs.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in network support and IT security.
• Strong communication skills in Cantonese; English and Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.

Required skills

• Cisco routers, switches, Wi‑Fi controllers/APs and IP phones.
• Firewalls from Cisco, Fortinet or similar.
• Network security and endpoint security monitoring.
• Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• VMware ESX (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, IT security) are a plus.
