Junior Accountant – Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Junior Accountant to support the finance operations of our Singapore entity while based in Hong Kong. This entry‑level position offers exposure to multi‑market accounting, GST filing, and year‑end closing within a fast‑growing entertainment company.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff expense claims and bank reconciliations.
• Handle vendor invoices, reimbursement requests and payment instructions accurately and on time.
• Maintain accounting records, vouchers and supporting documentation in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Assist with monthly financial closing, management reporting and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Support GST filing, annual tax computation and statutory audit processes.
• Contribute to budget preparation and financial forecasting for local operations.
• Liaise with local banks, auditors and tax agents as needed.
• Collaborate with the Hong Kong finance team to align processes and reporting standards.
• Undertake ad‑hoc finance and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of solid accounting experience; experience in entertainment, events or multinational environments is a plus.
• Good command of English and Mandarin.
• Meticulous, well‑organized and highly responsible.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
