Laundry Attendant – Ironer

About the role

The Laundry Attendant – Ironer plays a vital part in delivering the high‑standard guest experience expected at a luxury hotel. You will be responsible for processing, ironing, and preparing linens and garments so that every guest enjoys fresh, crisp bedding and clothing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and package hotel linens, uniforms, and guest garments.
• Deliver clean linens and garments to guest rooms and back‑of‑house areas as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including proper handling of chemicals.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with inventory control and report any shortages or equipment issues.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 lb.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible shifts.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.

• Proficiency in operating commercial laundry machines.
