Lead Solutions Architect – AWS, Kubernetes & DevOps Platform

About the role

Our client is building an autonomous, high‑velocity technology unit that operates like an internal startup. As Lead Solutions Architect you will design and deliver cloud‑native enterprise solutions from the ground up, working with a fast‑moving team drawn from fintech, crypto and startup backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy enterprise‑grade AWS and Kubernetes environments for high‑throughput, resilient applications.
• Lead Infrastructure‑as‑Code initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for seamless, automated deployments.
• Define engineering standards for microservices, API gateways, and service‑mesh architectures.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging open‑source tools, service meshes, and developer technologies.
• Collaborate with agile squads, product managers and operations teams to ship scalable software quickly.

Required profile

• Agile, pragmatic mindset with a strong bias for rapid execution.
• Expert‑level experience in the core AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
• Deep knowledge of production‑grade Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD or equivalent).
• Proven track record in microservices, event‑driven design and API architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
